May Membership Meeting & Discussion: "The Meaning & Purpose of Yoga"

Many young women in DC and across the country practice yoga, or have at least tried it out. But just what is yoga? What does it mean, historically and to the people who practice it today? Who is it for, and why does it appeal to so many of us?

For National Women's Health Month, join us for an informal discussion led by several local yoginis and yoga teachers about the practice and their experience with it as young women.

Offices of the YWCA of the National Capital Area
624 9th Street, NW, Washington, DC
