Whether you haven't had a health class since high school or you're a reproductive health advocate, we could all use a refresher course on what we as young women can be doing to protect our reproductive health.
Join us for a discussion led by Soraya Galeas, Director of Community Education for Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington. Bring your questions, share your experiences, and learn from both an expert in the field and from one another.

January Membership Meeting & Discussion on "Dating While Feminist"
Thursday, January 20, 6:30pm, YWCA of the National Capital Area, 624 9th St, NW
Join us to talk about how dating and romantic relationships are impacted by feminist values and awareness of feminist issues. This will be an informal conversation based on your thoughts and experiences, but some topics we will touch on include:
- How do traditional gender roles and expectations come into play in dating and relationships, for both straight and LGBTQ people?
- Would you identify yourself a feminist on a first date? On an online dating profile?
- How do you talk about issues of sexism and gender inequality with your partner or someone you're interested in?
- What are your feminist dating horror stories... or pleasant surprises?
Here some articles and blog posts to get you thinking! (Note: some include explicit language and may not be safe-for-work.)
